Houskeeping

A Hotel Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining hotel rooms, ensuring they are comfortable and welcoming for guests. They perform a variety of cleaning tasks, restocking amenities, and providing exceptional guest service.

Job Title: Hotel Room Attendant
Location: Downtown, Toronto
Job Type: Full Time, Part time. permanent
Pay Rate: $18
Shift Details: Monday – Sunday
Time: 8:30am – 6:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting Guests and responding to their concerns or questions.
- Make sure to always change bed sheets, linens, pillowcases, blankets and ensure that rooms are neatly arranged.
- Restock guest room amenities, including toiletries etc.
- Vacuum, Sweep, mop, and dust room surfaces.
- Adhere to the hotels’ cleaning and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Maintain a polite and helpful demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Follow the hotel’s procedures for handling lost and found items.
- Respect guests’ privacy and security by following the hotel’s policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is a plus.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Must be flexible to work on your days off if needed.
- Physical Stamina to handle the demands of cleaning and lifting.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation procedures.
- Must be able to work on weekends and holidays.
